Biden Demands Trump’s Arrest
According to the New York Times, President Biden recently secretly told close members of his own inner circle that he wanted former President Donald Trump to be prosecuted because he saw him as a “threat to democracy” because of what happened on January 6th.
The NY Times further claimed that Biden did not convey his feelings to his Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Biden is also alleged to have been very frustrated with Merrick Garland because Biden felt he didn’t more aggressively and decisively prosecute people who were part of the insurrection. However, in a statement White House spokesman Andrew Bates explained, Biden “is immensely proud of the attorney general’s service in this administration and has no role in investigative priorities or decisions.”
The New York Times further explained that their discovery was made after they interviewed more than a dozen people some of which who were Biden officials in his administration.
On the recent anniversary of the Jan 6. protest, Biden said, “Those who stormed this Capitol and those who instigated and incited and those who called on them to do so held a dagger at the throat of America, at American democracy.”
