Pelosi’s Racist Attack
In a shocking turn of events, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi shocked much of America when she said that illegal immigrants needed to stay in Florida because farmers need them “to pick the crops.”
According to Fox, it all began when Pelosi was asked by reporters of whether or not the border was secure. Pelosi responded by saying that while “we have a responsibility to secure our border, we also have a responsibility to recognize the importance of newcomers to our nation.”
Pelosi was then asked about Governors DeSantis and Abbott’s decision to send immigrants to places like New York, Washington D.C. and Martha’s Vineyard.
Pelosi fired back and said, “We have a shortage of workers in our country, and you see even in Florida, some of the farmers and the growers saying, ‘Why are you shipping these immigrants up North? We need them to pick the crops down here.'”
Pelosi’s comments comes off as extremely racist and foolish. This year alone President Biden has allowed a whopping 2.1 million migrant encounters to happen at our southern border.
In comparison, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has shipped just 10,000 migrants to Washington, D.C., New York City and Chicago. That is just a fraction of what states like Texas and Arizona are dealing with.
President Biden and Pelosi need to get the border under control fast. If not they are going to cause some very serious problems in America.
