Biden and Kamala Announce 2024 Re-Election Campaign, Are You Worried?

Ocasio-Cortez Joins Forces With Trump?

According to reports, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, who serves as a Democratic Representative for New York, has expressed her belief that Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida is not as strong as former President Donald Trump. This comes as recent polls indicate that DeSantis would perform better than Trump in a hypothetical 2024 matchup against President Biden.

According to Fox, during an MSNBC interview, Jen Psaki posed a question to the congresswoman regarding the potential candidacy of Donald Trump for the GOP nomination and whether it would be advantageous for Democrats in securing the White House in the upcoming election cycle.

Despite being known for her vocal criticisms of Donald Trump, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, a prominent progressive, has implied that Ron DeSantis is a comparatively weaker political figure than Trump.

“I think that Governor DeSantis has made some very large critical errors. And I think he’s weaker,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.

AOC then doubled down on DeSantis and said, “You can’t out Trump, Trump right? And that’s what he has really been trying to do. He may be trying to win a base, but that base belongs to Donald Trump.”

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has asserted that Ron DeSantis’ policies in the state of Florida are excessive, despite his comfortable re-election victory by nearly 20 points in the 2022 midterm elections.

“He has sacrificed I think the one thing that others may have thought would make him competitive, which is this idea that he would somehow be more rational than Donald Trump, which he isn’t,” AOC added.

Furthermore, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez expressed her belief that none of the potential Republican candidates would be capable of effectively challenging Donald Trump for the GOP nomination.

“The Republican Party is so disorganized that I really don’t see someone who can unite that party, even beyond Donald Trump,” AOC said.
