Red State Goes Into Lockdown
In a shocking turn of events, it has just been learned that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been forced to activate the Florida National Guard due to the fact that hundreds of migrants have entered the state.
According to Axios, DeSantis decision to now deploy troops comes after several months of him and other Republicans demanding President Biden to do something about the border crisis.
DeSantis has also ordered state law enforcement and state agencies to provide support to the local areas to better deal with the massive wave of migrants who have entered the state.
DeSantis called on state officials to provide “additional support toward efforts to prevent further migrant landings on Florida’s shores.”
DeSantis intends to use airplanes and helicopters from the National Guard along with marine patrol from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to better protect the state.
On January 1st, it was learned that over 300 migrants crossed over into Florida and more than 8,000 migrants were encountered at sea off Florida’s coast since August of last year.
“As the negative impacts of Biden’s lawless immigration policies continue unabated, the burden of the Biden administration’s failure falls on local law enforcement who lack the resources to deal with the crisis,” DeSantis explained.
If President Biden won’t do anything, Republican leaders will and they won’t stand down like the Democrats want them to.
