VIDEO: Trump Proves DOJ Wrong

Former President Donald Trump once again defended having documents in his Mar-a-Lago home which were taken from the White House.

According to The Hill, Trump defended having the documents and explained that he did not have to go through any declassification process to take the documents and a president can declassify them “even by thinking about it.”

Trump explained to Fox’s Sean Hannity, “There doesn’t have to be a process, as I understand it. If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying, ‘It’s declassified.’ Even by thinking about it.”

Trump then added, “There can be a process, but there doesn’t have to be. You’re the president. You make that decision. So when you send it, it’s declassified. I declassified everything.”

What liberals fail to understand is that presidents do have the broad power to declassify records.
