Democrats Caught Spying On Americans
It has now been learned that payment processor Visa will now create it own category for gun stores and it will help them track gun purchases like how Mastercard and American Express already does.
According to Fox, Visa now says they will add the International Organization for Standardization’s new merchant code to gun stores. Before this decision Visa just labeled gun stores as “general merchandise.”
Visa said in a statement, “Following ISO’s decision to establish a new merchant category code, Visa will proceed with next steps, while ensuring we protect all legal commerce on the Visa network in accordance with our long-standing rules.”
This is seen as a huge victory by gun control advocates who have been pushing for this decision for a long time.
Gun rights advocates and gun lobbyists have warned payment processors that categorizing gun shop sales will be unfair to the industry since most gun sales don’t result in senseless violence.
New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams defended the decision and said, “When you buy an airline ticket or pay for your groceries, your credit card company has a special code for those retailers. It’s just common sense that we have the same policies in place for gun and ammunition stores.”
