Trump In Jeopardy Over Court Case
Rudy Giuliani has warned Donald Trump that he should not testify before the grand jury in relation to alleged hush-money payments for Stormy Daniels, as it is a case that has already been decided in his favor three times and is therefore baseless. This statement comes as Trump faces the possibility of being indicted.
In transcript provided by Newsmax, Giuliani told reporters, “Personal view: I wouldn’t go near that grand jury. I think I know what I’m talking about.”
Giuliani then called out Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg directly and said, “You’re a disgrace, Bragg, and your political party has become a fascist political party.”
Later adding, “Unbelievably political, the most political of all, and it shows that the Democratic Party has become the state police, because they’re doing this all over the country. It’s not just here. He’s the worst, because he doesn’t prosecute anybody else.”
“Alvin Bragg indicated the day he became district attorney that he’s basically a criminal,” Giuliani sternly said. “That said he wouldn’t follow his oath of office. He announced the whole group of crimes, virtually half the penal code, that he wouldn’t prosecute, including armed robbery if the guy doesn’t use his gun. He backed off that now as you bring a gun and you may get prosecuted. He has not prosecuted more cases than any district attorney that I can remember.
Giuliani believes that if Bragg indicts Trump for any offense, it will only boost Trump’s political power before the 2024 presidential election.
All of these lawsuits against Trump are purely political and they are doing all of this to destroy his 2024 chances.
