Pence Calls Trump A Liar?

Recently, Former President Donald Trump pointed to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and explained how that resulted in the midterms not going well for the Republican Party.

Now it appears that former Vice President Mike Pence found issue with Trump’s comments about abortion and criticized him online about it leaving the Republican party in a troubling situation.

According to Yahoo, it all began when a pro-life group known as the “Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America” criticized Trump on Twitter and wrote, “The approach to winning on abortion in federal races, proven for a decade is this: state clearly the ambitious consensus pro-life position and contrast that with the extreme view of Democrat opponents. We look forward to hearing that position fully articulated by Mr. Trump and all presidential candidates.”

Pence then decided to jump into the conversation and responded to the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America organization by simply saying “Well said!”

Trump defended himself from the negative news of a lackluster midterm elections for the Republicans and said, “It wasn’t my fault that the Republicans didn’t live up to expectations in the MidTerms.”

“It was the ‘abortion issue,’ poorly handled by many Republicans, especially those that firmly insisted on No Exceptions, even in the case of Rape, Incest, or Life of the Mother, that lost large numbers of Voters. Also, the people that pushed so hard, for decades, against abortion, got their wish from the U.S. Supreme Court, & just plain disappeared, not to be seen again. Plus, Mitch stupid $’s!” Trump added.

As of right now a lot of Republicans are firmly divided when it comes to abortion-related issues. Some are standing very firmly against it while others have a more relaxed approach to the issue.
