Biden Officially Hits Rocks Bottom
President Joe Biden has been in the headlines lately for a number of reasons including his horrendous pullout of Afghanistan, the wide open U.S.-Mexico border, and being unable to stop the COVID-19 virus. Now all these problems have caught up with Biden and his approval rating is slipping badly.
According to Fox News, When he came into office, President Biden’s approval ratings floated around the low to mid 50s. However, following the disastrous Afghanistan pullout, Biden’s numbers have began to slip and he now sits at 45%-49% approval/disapproval according to RealClearPolitics.
Furthermore, director of polling at ABC News Gary Langer noted, “only two presidents have had a lower approval rating at this point in their terms: Donald Trump, at 37% in August 2017, and Gerald Ford, also 37%, in March 1975.”
Marist Poll director Lee Miringoff said just last week that “the end of this chapter of American involvement in Afghanistan has taken a significant toll on Biden’s standing with Americans.”
