RNC Threatens Trump

In a shocking turn of events, the Republican National Committee which has already paid out around $2 million to lawyers to represent former President Donald Trump, now is threatening to stop paying these lawyers if Trump decides to run again in 2024.

According to ABC, an RNC official said that the party’s “neutrality policy” restricts them from taking sides in any presidential primary.

Some Republican leaders are concerned that Trump will hurt their chances in the midterms by announcing a presidential run too early. They are hoping that threatening him now will prevent him from announcing his run too soon.

“I’m not telling anybody to run or not to run in 2024,” RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel explained.

McDaniel went on to say that she still sees Trump as the leaders of the GOP.

These claims that Trump was threatened by the RNC comes from ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl’s new book “Betrayal: The Final Act of the Trump Show”.

Both Trump and the RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel have aggressively denied these accusations. So did the RNC really threaten Trump or is this more manipulation by the mainstream media to cook up controversy in the Republican party?
