Jan 6 Committee Proceeds To Indict Trump
The crooked January 6th Select Committee which is claimed to be investigating the Jan 6th Capitol protest outrageously claimed over the weekend that they have uncovered enough evidence for the Justice Department to warrant unprecedented criminal indictment against former President Donald Trump.
They believe that former President Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
According to US News, during the hearings, Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff said the he wanted the Jan 6. Committee to “investigate any credible allegation of criminal activity on the part of Donald Trump.”
Schiff added that “there are certain actions, parts of these different lines of effort to overturn the election that I don’t see evidence the Justice Department is investigating.”
The Democratic Party and some Republicans such as Liz Cheney are claiming that Trump put up a “massive effort” to “spread misinformation.”
Schiff later added, “Once the evidence is accumulated by the Justice Department, it needs to make a decision about whether it can prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt the president’s guilt or anyone else’s. But they need to be investigated if there’s credible evidence, which I think there is.”
