Pelosi Goes To Jail?
As you may already know, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was recently arrested for drunk driving on May 28th.
Now according to Fox, it appears that Paul Pelosi was officially charged with a DUI with injury on Thursday.
Furthermore, in a press release from the district attorney’s office, it has been learned that Paul Pelosi had a blood alcohol content level of .082% a few hours after the crash.
These charges are considered misdemeanor charges and not a felony because of “the extent of the injuries suffered by the victim.”
Punishment for this misdemeanor DUI includes “up to five years of probation, a minimum of five days in jail, installation of an ignition interlock device, fines and fees, completion of a court ordered drinking driver class, and other terms as appropriate,” said the district attorney.
Paul Pelosi has been ordered to appear for arraignment in the Napa County Superior Court on August 3rd.
