Kamala Fails In Russia
President Biden recently asked Vice President Kamala Harris to do his job for him and sent her to Munich, Germany with hopes that she would de-escalate the Russia-Ukraine crisis to prevent a major war from happening.
That is now appearing to have been a big mistake.
Kamala appears to have flip-flopped a number of times and recently said that she strongly believes that the sanctions the United States and NATO have placed on Russian President Vladimir Putin would deter him from invading Ukraine.
However, Kamala’s comments have have come under scrutiny since President Biden recently confessed that he strongly believes Putin has made up his mind and will likely invade Ukraine.
According to Fox, When Kamala was asked about Russia invading she claimed that it was unlikely due to the fact that Biden has placed “some of the greatest sanctions, if not the strongest,” against Russia in history.
“As I articulated yesterday, it is directed at institutions — in particular, financial institutions — and individuals, and it will exact absolute harm for the Russian economy and their government,” Harris further explained.
Then Kamala was asked AGAIN if she was confident Biden could stop Putin from invading and again Kamala said she was confident. “Absolut- — we strongly believe — and remember also that the sanctions are a product not only of our perspective as the United States but a shared perspective among our Allies. And the Allied relationship is such that we have agreed that the deterrence effect of these sanctions is still a meaningful one, especially because — remember, also — we still sincerely hope that there is a diplomatic path out of this moment,” Harris explained.
Kamala appears to have failed completely with her overseas trip. At the moment, Russia has around 150,000 Russian forces at Ukraine’s border and they keep growing.
What’s even worse is that others aren’t buying Kamala’s lie. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said an invasion is likely going to happen. “Russia is preparing for an invasion of Ukraine,” Stoltenberg stated.
