GOP Disqualifies Trump Candidate

In a shocking turn of events, the Tennessee Republican Party has just disqualified Trump-endorsed Republican Morgan Ortagus along with two other candidates from the upcoming August primary ballot.

According to Newsmax, before running for the state’s 5th Congressional District, Ortagus worked as a State Department spokeswoman in Trump’s administration. Ortagus was disqualified by the GOP’s State Executive Committee (SEC) because they claimed that she just recently moved to Tennessee.

After learning about her disqualification Ortagus said, “I am deeply disappointed in the SEC’s decision. I’m a bonafide Republican by their standards, and frankly, by any metric. I’m further disappointed that the party insiders at the Tennessee Republican Party do not seem to share my commitment to President Trump’s America first policies.”

She went on to say, “voters in Middle Tennessee should pick their representative — not establishment party insiders. Our team is evaluating the options before us.”

Several branches of the GOP appear to be sitting on the wrong side of the fence in regard to former President Donald Trump.
