Should Biden Be Impeached For Trump Raid?

Republicans Who Backstabbed Trump On FBI Raid

Not long after former President Donald Trump was raided by the FBI, a number of Republican leaders rushed to his defense. This raid was unique in many ways and has also never been done against a President of the United States in history.

Now there are a number of Republicans who are not saying anything about the raid or are actually happy that Trump’s home was raided.

First and foremost, Republican Chris Christie fired off on Trump and said that his home being raided was just “fair game.”

According to Breitbart, one reporter asked Christie, “Is there some legal distinction when you search a home and there’s a safe. … Is there a difference? Or is that fair game?”

“No, it’s fair game, and you just have to display probable cause to a federal judge, that there are contents that you have reasonably — there are contents within that safe that would assist in proving a violation of the law.”

Then according to Fox, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell dodged a question about the FBI raid and decided not to say anything at all.

“I’m here to talk about the flood and recovery from the flood,” McConnell said when a reporter asked him about the raid.

It’s not just McConnell and Christie who have shown little sympathy for the raid that happened on Trump’s home. Republican Senator Tim Scott also stayed out of it and said that it’s best to just let all of this play out.

“The most important thing we can do is let it play out,” Scott said. “It has to be something of incredible magnitude for at least my side of the aisle to say it was warranted.”
