Biden Says He Respects 2nd Amendment, Is He Lying?

VIDEO: Texas Republican Gets Revenge On Trump

Republican congressman from Texas, Chip Roy, has had a complicated relationship with former President Donald Trump. While Roy has been a vocal supporter of many of Trump’s policies, he has also criticized the former president for his rhetoric and behavior.

In 2021, Republican Rep. Roy voted against certifying the results of the 2020 presidential election, aligning himself with Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud. However, Roy has also spoken out against Trump’s role in the January 6th Capitol insurrection, calling for his impeachment and removal from office.

Overall, Roy’s relationship with Trump has been characterized by both support and criticism, as he seeks to balance his loyalty to the Republican party with his own principles and values.

Now it appears that Rep. Roy has completely throw Donald Trump under the bus and has endorsed Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis to be the 2024 Republican nominee to go up against President Biden.

Roy condemned Trump and said, “It’s time to have someone who’s not a baby boomer.”

Roy then doubled down in favor for DeSantis and claimed that he was someone who he knows can “serve two terms” suggesting that Trump was too old.
