DeSantis Cuts Biden Off

President Biden has recent had hundreds of National Guard troops activated so they can be transported to the nation’s capital to provide security during President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis however had other plans and has informed President Biden that he will not be sending any National Guard troops from Florida.

According to Newsmax, 700 National Guard members have already been activated just ahead of Biden’s speech. Biden appears to be preparing for the rumor that a truck convoy protest could happen at the Capitol which is why Biden wants additional security.

DeSantis took to Twitter and broke the news to President Biden, “Last week, the Biden administration requested the assistance of State National Guards to deploy to Washington, D.C. I have rejected this request — there will be no Florida National Guard members sent to D.C. for Biden’s State of the Union.”

The troops are expected to be on duty in Washington from to just before noon March 7th.
