Does Trump Deserve A Second Term?

Biden’s Supreme Court Pick Revealed

The White House has just confirmed that they are strongly considering South Carolina District Court Judge Michelle Childs to fill the vacant seat which was a result of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement.

If Biden selects Judge Childs he will have successfully accomplished his first promise as president since coming into office by electing a black woman to the Supreme Court.

Justice Stephen Breyer’s replacement isn’t a topic of major concern for Republicans however because he was a liberal justice and Biden would simply be replacing one liberal with another. Currently the Supreme Court is conservative controlled.

According to Fox, White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates stated, “Judge Childs is among multiple individuals under consideration for the Supreme Court, and we are not going to move her nomination on the Court of Appeals while the President is considering her for this vacancy.”

Biden recently doubled down on his promise to nominate a black female judge to the Supreme Court, “Our process is going to be rigorous. I will select a nominee worthy of Justice Breyer’s legacy of excellence and decency,” Biden stated. “While I’ve been studying candidates’ backgrounds and writings, I’ve made no decision except one: The person I will nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications, character, experience and integrity. And that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court.”
