Does Pelosi Need To Be Kicked Out?

Trump Threatens GOP Midterms

Former President Donald Trump is now expected to announce his 2024 presidential run as early as this summer and some political experts in the GOP along with Republicans don’t think he should just yet.

According to The Hill, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) have made it very clear already that they want to make the 2022 midterms all about President Biden and his bad handling of the country in regard to the economy and inflation.

Many Republicans believe that if Trump announces his run just before the 2022 midterms, then Democrats such as Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others will shift the focus onto Trump giving them the momentum they need to survive the election.

Democratic strategists believe that having Trump’s name in the headlines again will give them “a shot of energy and motivation” to raise the spirits of the Democratic voter base who are sick of Biden’s lies and excuses.

Republican pollster Whit Ayres explained, “Midterm elections tend to be referenda on the governing party and given President Biden’s rock-bottom job approval rating, anything that detracts from a focus on the Biden administration and its many failures weakens the Republicans’ ability to take control of Congress.”
