Is McConnell A Disgrace To The GOP?

Lindsey Graham Shows McConnell The Door

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham was applauded by conservatives recently after he told Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell that he will have to maintain a good “working relationship” with former President Donald Trump if he wants to remain the Republican Party’s leader in Congress.

According to NY Post, In a recent interview Trump’s close ally Graham warned McConnell that whoever is planning on being the next Senate Republican chief must get along with Trump since he is the most likely candidate to run in 2024.

Sen. Graham strongly believes Trump will win again.

Graham stated, “Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with President Donald Trump.”

Graham then called Trump “the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan.” He also noted that the 2024 GOP nomination is his if we wants it.

Graham later asked, “But here’s the question, can Sen. McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican Party — Donald Trump? I’m not going to vote for anybody that can’t have a working relationship with President Trump, to be a team, to come up with an America-first agenda, to show the difference between us and liberal Democrats [and] prosecute the case for Trump policies.”
