Just when President Biden and the Democratic Party were on the ropes, 19 Republicans including RINO Mitch McConnell helped Biden and the Dems to pass the stopgap funding bill which prevented a government shutdown.

According to WSOCTV, the Senate voted 69-28 to pass the interim bill which will fund the government through February 18th. The measure will now be signed into law by President Biden.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer did a victory lap around Republicans and stated, “I am glad that in the end, cooler heads prevailed. The government will stay open and I thank the members of this chamber for walking us back from the brink of an avoidable, needless and costly shutdown.”

Roy Blunt, Richard Burr, Shelley Capito, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, John Cornyn, Lindsey Graham, Cindy Hyde-Smith, John Kennedy, Mitch McConnell, Jerry Moran, Lisa Murkowski, Rob Portman, Mike Rounds, Marco Rubio, Richard Shelby, Thom Tillis, Roger Wicker, and Todd Young

This stopgap bill send an additional $7 billion for Afghan ‘refugees,’ and Biden is fully expected to sign it.
