Do You Want Trump To Run For President Again?

Trump’s New GOP Challengers

As we all know, former President Donald Trump is destined to be the GOP’s 2024 presidential nominee.

However, former President Donald Trump has not officially announced his run and the Democrats are trying hard to ensure he is blocked from running.

If Trump somehow does not run in 2024, here are the top candidates that will be fighting for the nomination according to The Hill.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis – First and foremost is Governor Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is the clear favorite for the presidency if Trump does not run.

Former Vice President Mike Pence – Whether or not you like him, the media has placed former President Mike Pence in the spotlight.

Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley – Conservative pundit Matt Mackowiak explained, “She is just an attractive political figure. She is conservative, but she does that in a way that is persuasive. Pence has a line about being a conservative but not being in a bad mood about it, and Haley has that quality as well.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) – As you may already know, Cruz came in second when he was running against Trump. Cruz still holds a lot respect within the GOP.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo – Mackowiak explained, “he is in many ways the rightful heir to the Trump legacy; he was responsible for most, if not all, of his foreign policy agenda; and he understands Trump and Trump voters. I would not underestimate Mike Pompeo.”

Sen. Tim Scott – Scott is the only black Republican Senator and is very well respected in his party. The RNC’s Doug Heye stated, “Tim Scott is potentially the best unifier candidate Republicans could have. He is the antithesis of polarization.”

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem – Noem gained national attention when she fought back against Democrats’ lockdown similar to how Gov. DeSantis did. Noem gained the trust of Conservatives with her “more freedom, not more government is the answer” attitude.
