Pelosi’s Plan For Complete Democratic Control
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi shocked Republicans when she threw caution to the wind and called for including immigration reform in the upcoming multitrillion-dollar spending bill that the Democrats are negotiating on to pass.
According to Fox News, “I do believe that immigration should be in the reconciliation, some piece of that, in the reconciliation,” Pelosi said in a press conference. “We know we have a very good case for this to be included.“
Democrats want to give “Dreamer immigrants” who were brought here as children a pathway to citizenship. While details are still unclear about the specifics of Pelosi’s plan for illegal immigration, Democrats would use some of the $3.5 trillion bill on planned health, education, environment and social programs.
Democrat Senator Dick Durbin recently admitted that Biden has made it “unequivocally clear” that he supports immigration reform.
