Biden Saved From Impeachment
In a move that has infuriated the American people, Senate Republicans have decided to throw cold water on the idea of impeaching President Biden over his classified documents scandal.
Sadly, House Republicans still want to impeach Biden but it’s starting to look like that can no longer happen.
According to The Hill, Senate Republican Whip John Thune rejected the idea of impeaching Biden and said, “I don’t think you want to get into where it’s a tit for tat, every two years or four years you’re dealing with impeachment proceedings in the House and Senate. There has to be a really good reason, obviously, the constitutional reasons and grounds for that. So we’ll see where it goes.”
What’s even worse is that when asked about if he thought Biden having classified documents was an impeachable offense, Republican Senator John Cornyn simply responded, “No.”
House Republicans however think this is a very serious issue. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said that there was a big difference between Trump and Biden’s classified document scandals. McCarthy said, “That’s much different than what we’re finding now with President Biden, and I think it is severely going to cause him a great deal of trouble in the future as we get more of the truth.”
It’s frustrating for Americans to see Senate Republicans be so cowardly when it comes to prosecuting Biden. Democrats attempted to impeach Trump for posting mean tweets. President Biden has compromised national security and still can’t get impeached.
