McCarthy Gets In Bed With McConnell
The GOP should really reconsider if we want Republican Kevin McCarthy as the House Speaker anymore.
In a shocking turn of events, GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy decided to get into bed with Republican Mitch McConnell and the Democrats and throw Trump under the bus.
McCarthy agreed that the January 6 protests was a “violent insurrection” which makes Trump’s chances of running for re-election all that much harder in 2024.
According to the Daily Mail, McCarthy was asked if he agreed with McConnell’s assessment that the January 6th protest was a “violent insurrection.”
‘No one would disagree with that,’ McCarthy told reporters while standing on Capitol Hill.
McCarthy appears to have taken a knee to Democrats after they mocked him for siding with the Republican National Committee to censure Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney.
Is it time for the GOP to abandon their Kevin McCarthy as well?
