Should Biden Take A Cognitive Test?

McConnell Threatens Republicans

Senate Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) drew a line in the sand with anyone else in the Republican party and boldly stated that anyone who shows any form of support for Russian President Vladimir Putin will be a “lonely voice” in the GOP.

According to The Hill, McConnell called for the U.S. to give even more support to Ukraine along with state of the art weapons systems.

McConnell also urged Americans to have faith in the idea that Ukraine could actually WIN against Russia and defeat Putin’s invasion.

Recently, Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn took a shot at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and referred to him as a “thug.”

During his interview with CBS, McConnell stated, “Well, there’s some lonely voices out there that are in a different place. But looking at Senate Republicans, I can tell you that I would have, had I been the majority leader, put this Ukraine supplemental up by itself. I think virtually every one of my members would have voted for it.”

“The vast majority of the Republican Party writ large, both in the Congress and across the country, are totally behind Ukrainians and urging the president to … take these steps quicker, to be bolder. So there may be a few only voices off the side. I wouldn’t pay much attention to them,” McConnell further explained.
