Should Biden Be Banned From Running In 2024?

Corrupt Attorney General In The Hot Seat

In a move that was long overdue, Republicans sitting on the Senate Judiciary Committee got their chance to drag President Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland into Congess and grill him over a number of issues including the fentanyl crisis, illegal migration and more.

According to The Hill, Republican Senator John Cornyn called out Garland over the drug-related deaths in the United States and what they are doing about it.

“I have been just astonished at the lack of sense of urgency to deal with this issue,” Cornyn said.

He then hit Garland over the proliferation of mandatory-minimum sentencing guidelines and how criminals are being let off the hook too easily.

Garland responded saying, “it’s a question of the resources. We don’t have money, we don’t have enough jails, we don’t have enough judges.”

Cornyn appeared angered and fired back at Garland saying, “You’ve arrogated to yourself the decision to make policy.”

“You’re telling prosecutors don’t charge those if they involve a mandatory-minimum sentence,” Cornyn asked.

Republican Ted Cruz hammered Garland over how little they have done to protect Supreme Court justices from protestors and other dangerous groups. Cruz stated, “You spent 20 years as a judge and you’re perfectly content with justices being afraid for their children’s lives, and you did nothing to prosecute it.”

Garland fired back saying, “Senator, you asked me whether I sat on my hands and [it was] quite the opposite. I sent 70 United States Marshals to defend [their homes].”

“The marshals on scene — they do make the decision over whether to make an arrest,” Garland added.

Republican Senator Josh Hawley grilled Garland over abortion issues and asked, “how many informants do you have in Catholic churches across America?”

“I don’t believe we have any informants aimed at Catholic churches. We have rules against investigations based on First Amendment activity and Catholic churches are obviously first amendment activity,” Garland replied.

It’s obvious that Merrick Garland isn’t upholding his duty to protect America, he is simply doing exactly what President Biden and the Democrats are asking him to do. America needs a new Attorney General badly.
