Top Republican Backstabs Trump
In a move that has infuriated Republicans across the country, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy just announced that he would impeach President Joe Biden if Republicans take control of the House after the midterm elections.
According to Newsmax, McCarthy stated, “One thing we learned that the Democrats did is they used impeachment for political reasons.”
“We believe in the rule of law,” McCarthy added. “We’re not going to pick and choose just because somebody has power. We’re going to uphold the law. At any time, if someone breaks the law and the ramification becomes impeachment, we would move towards that, but we’re not going to use it for political purposes.”
Instead of impeaching Biden, McCarthy said that he and the GOP wants to use their power in the House to force Biden to make the border more secure, make America energy independent and bring down inflation.
On the other hand, many conservatives want to fight fire with fire and are hoping the Republicans will try and impeach President Biden for the absolutely terrible position he has put the United States in.
