Biden Suffers Health Scare
It has just been revealed that President Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently experiencing mild symptoms.
According to The Hill, Biden who is 79 years old have been fully vaccinated and even twice boosted however he still contracted the virus and there are many concerns about his health due to his age. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained that Biden is currently on Paxlovid which is a antiviral therapy.
Jean-Pierre explained, “This morning, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19. He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking Paxlovid. Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.”
President Biden’s doctor Kevin O’Connor said that Biden is currently suffering from a runny nose, a runny nose, fatigue, and an “occasional dry cough.”
“The President is fully vaccinated and twice-boosted, so I anticipate that he will respond favorably, as most maximally protected patients do,” O’Connor explained.
Biden is now expected to isolate himself until he tests negative for COVID-19 and the White House is expected to share daily updates regarding his health.
