Should Alvin Bragg Lose His Job For Prosecuting Trump?

NYC Mayor Issues Warning To Top Republican

Mayor Eric Adams of New York City (D) cautioned Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to behave appropriately after she announced her intention to attend a pro-Trump rally in New York on the day of the ex-president’s arraignment. The mayor advised her to “Be on your best behavior.”

In transcript provided by The Hill, Adams warned, “People like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech … she stated she’s coming to town. While you’re in town, be on your best behavior.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene plans to participate in a peaceful demonstration organized by the New York Young Republican Club on Tuesday, the same day when former President Donald Trump is scheduled to appear in court. This comes in the wake of his indictment last week in connection with the inquiry into hush money paid to Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 presidential election.

Greene insisted that this was an “unprecedented abuse of our justice system and election interference.”

The recent indictment of former President Trump by a grand jury in New York has been explained by him and his supporters as a politically motivated witch hunt, with him being the first-ever sitting or former president to be charged with a criminal offense. While Marjorie Taylor Greene had initially rejected the idea of staging protests, her decision to join the upcoming demonstration represents a change of heart for the outspoken congresswoman.

Greene explained, “I changed my mind because we — it’s our First Amendment right. And we have a right to protest. And it’s so absolutely horrible what Alvin Bragg has done, and he’s truly crossed the line with our justice system.”

Mayor Adams made it clear that the New York law enforcement agencies would not permit any kind of violent activities during the protests taking place in the city.
